Green Island started as a platform to connect the local community to safe and reliable recycling gateways. But as the project matured, we realized the potential for an even greater impact. In addition to recycling, Green Island focuses on transformational effects through local partnerships and emphasizing education and research.

Ultimately, Green Island aims to strengthen waste management, encourage environmental protection, and foster a recycling culture.

Green Island spans 8,000 square meters and is located across from Al Shaqab metro station in Education City. Click here for the location map.
